The Gathering acknowledges the legitimacy of both the Jewish and Christian faiths. Participants are committed to a policy of not influencing the religious expression of others. At The Gathering, both Jewish and Christian beliefs are honored. In this environment, participants are able to learn more about one another in order to strengthen their mutual respect and bond.
At The Gathering, you will experience:
- Times of congregational prayer for the peace of Jerusalem, led by both rabbis and pastors;
- Respect and appreciation for the uniqueness of both the Jewish and Christian faiths;
- A sense of community;
- Creative music, dancing, performances, dramas, special guest speakers, and/or video presentations;
- An opportunity to participate in a special offering for a deserving non-profit organization common to the concerns of both Jews and Christians;
- Fellowship and relationship-building with those of a different faith;
- And more!
